Hello and welcome! As our first “news” story, we’re going to talk about the site launching, what to expect, and what’s yet to come!
First and foremost, election coverage. All election coverage will be non-partisan; there will be no bias, no misleading statements, and no ulterior motives. Elections deserve to be covered on a factual basis rather than emotional. When discussing policy positions with those running for office, there will be no pushback, no name calling, and no fearmongering. Our interview style will be simple and easy to follow: what are your views on healthcare? Foreign policy? Taxes? And so on. Candidates will be given the opportunity to answer how they wish without the needless interruptions that you so often see on mainstream media. This site is a platform where candidates can reach their voters and state clearly what their policy positions and beliefs are. Again, election reporting will be non-partisan.
The goal of the “news” section of this site is to bring impartial, objective news stories without the implicit bias of many news outlets (unless stated otherwise, i.e. opinion); that said, every link we click when researching a candidate or news story will be cited and posted so the reader can follow along and do additional reading if they so choose.
Our future goal is to launch a podcast giving in-depth analysis of upcoming elections. We would aim to include everything from the candidates who are running, their policy positions and the differences between them, as well as key messages and prior political positions held.
